It is always gratifying to hear from our audience members and several of you shared your thoughts after attending our recent No Holds Bard performances. The lions loved performing for you and thank you for being part of our three sold out shows. We'll see you next year under the tent!

This was an amazing concert. I went last night with high expectations and they were exceeded. The program had an excellent range of serious and humorous numbers. The addition of guest performers, including the amazing Judith Forst allowed the Lions to showcase their range and adaptability. The audience was engaged throughout and leapt to their feet seeking more after a finale that outperformed all others! I wish the choir luck on their upcoming tour and thank each of them for an inspiring and thoroughly enjoyable evening. I left the tent with a smile on my face grateful that they are resident in Vancouver!S Heath

It was a powerful show and I think Chor Leoni’s best yet! To be warmly greeted by such good friends before and after even though much time has passed between meetings; to be spiritually warmed by such magical music making both serious and farce; to be thrilled by Judith Forst’s blessed gift again; to hear Queen Rise Again; to go home with a heart so full; you did it again!

Every year we say you couldn't surpass the annual Chor Leoni at the Bard! And yet you do it! Last night was the VERY best, ever. We (your camp followers!) agree. I wish we could get another ticket for next Monday night's bash… but for some reason, you are all sold out (can't make the matinee) What superb antics . . .what fab. singing! What silly but fantastic performance! Can't possibly mention all the highlights. . . Where ever do you Lions come from? How does Diane snare you into the Lions Den? So glad she does. Keep on having fun and singing like you do! The "Barcelona" was so wonderful! (We've run out of words.) Good luck on your Eastern Tour. Wish we could be camp followers there, too! Best wishes to all of you. With thanks for the wondrous memories of last night.

WOW! I saw the choir at Bard on the Beach last night for the first time. It was one of the most enjoyable musical experiences that I have ever had. I am a musician and I adore all types of music, so this concert actually shocked me. The choice of music, choreography, the AMAZING soloists and guests were truly amazing. Diane Loomer is a force to be reckoned with. And the comedy; I never laughed so hard in my life. The highlight for me though was the incredible softness and harmony of the piece by Barber. Judith Forst and the other guests made the concert seem like an extraordinary musical experience. This was not just a concert. It was heaven. Please pass on my congratulations to Diane Loomer and associates, and I hope to make your concerts a part of my life. Thanks for reading this and for a most memorable evening.

I was taken to my first performance of Chor Leoni at the Bard and had no idea what to expect. What a wonderful evening it turned out to be. Sometimes I closed my eyes and just let the music flow over me, other times I laughed myself silly. The first thing I did this morning was to go online and buy tickets to the November and December performances. A real treat at the end was when the singers came down of the stage and thanked the audience for coming. First class!!!

Circle of Compassion is a tour de force of male choral singing. Achingly beautiful, its controlled power will entrance and move you. This disc received the 2008 National Choral Award for Outstanding Choral Recording given by the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors. It is Chor Leoni at its finest and we offer it as compassion and consolation to all those who have suffered loss.
