Circle of Compassion: Our Newest CD
Circle of Compassion is a tour de force of male choral singing. Achingly beautiful, its controlled power will entrance and move you. The disc includes the premiere recording of Stephen Smith's Pensive on Her Dead Gazing, a favourite from the November 2006 Remembrance Day concert. Appearing with Chor Leoni are soloists Christopher Gaze and Steve Maddock. Christopher's Christmas in the Trenches is brilliantly effective, and Steve's version of Bring Him Home is guaranteed to move you to tears. You may have gathered we are very proud of this CD - we are. It is not only Chor Leoni at its finest but also a disc that can stand proudly beside those from the best male choirs in the world.

This disc received the 2008 National Choral Award for Outstanding Choral Recording given by the Association of Canadian Choral Conductors. It is Chor Leoni at its finest and we offer it as compassion and consolation to all those who have suffered loss.
