Of our December 16 matinée performance, J. Belcher wrote:

Last night was my first opportunity to attend one of your concerts. It was a very enjoyable evening and I wanted to thank you for your show. Just two quick things that came to me. I am not Canadian so your tribute to authors, composers and arrangers Canadian didn't spark in me as large a sense of pride as it did in my fellow Canadian concert attenders, but did inspire a deep respect for your patronage for such things and I wanted to commend you for those efforts. Secondly, and most importantly, I wanted to tell you quite simply that you made wonderful music. Keep up the good, hard work and I look forward to hearing you in the future.
