November features Chor Leoni's first main series concerts, HOPE, on November 10 and 11. It also sees the choir launch full tilt into Christmas rehearsals - after all, Christmas isn't far away! In this issue you'll find:

Rush seats (a $20 bargain) are available for the November 10 performance of HOPE Ticketmaster may have the odd ticket left for the November 10 performance at Christ Church Cathedral, but never fear - there are more seats available. This year the choir is using a new ticketing arrangement. Ticket holders who bought before November 10 from choir members or Ticketmaster outlets are guaranteed a seat in front of the choir in the Cathedral's nave. We are offering rush seats in the Cathedral's chancel area and they will only be available from 7:45 pm on November 10 at the door. Chancel seating offer wonderful acoustics (often we're told it has the best sound in the house) but they are behind the choir. There are still tickets available for our performance at West Vancouver United Church on November 11.  $20 rush tickets for seating in the Cathedral chancel available at the doorticketmaster 604.280.3311 Donors, singers, board members, and government matching programs have helped Chor Leoni build an endowment fund of more than $200,000 over the last year. We're so pleased that this effort is featured as a "Success Story" on the Vancouver Foundation website. It's Official: Chor Leoni is now on iTunes As of November 4 Chor Leoni has gone digital - at least a little! Our self-titled Chor Leoni CD is now available on iTunes, with two more CDs scheduled to be added to their iTunes Music Store shortly. Purchasers can download individual tracks, purchase the entire album, or send it to someone as a digital gift. Just in time for Christmas, Chor Leoni on iTunes is a great way to introduce friends far and wide to Chor Leoni's sound. 4: Looking ahead to PEACE  It may seem like we're rushing the season but savvy Chor Leoni fans know our Christmas concerts are always popular and tickets can sell extremely quickly. We are taking a very West Coast view of the traditional Nine Lessons and Carols, with brand new carols and arrangements from some of Vancouver's hottest composers and arrangers, interspersed with readings by local authors. PEACE is a concert very much in the tradition of our Yuletide Fires - calm and beautiful, meant to offer an oasis of serenity amidst the hectic holiday preparations. Book your tickets now.
