Ah, Spring! Daffodils, warm breezes (except for last weekend), cherry blossoms - and LOVE! Chor Leoni is delighted to be  presenting a program of music the men love to sing, ranging from Victoria, Poulenc, and some of our favourite Russian repertoire all the way to Benjamin Britten's chilling story of love and murder, The Ballad of Little Musgrave and Lady Barnard. We're also excited to bring you Jean Sibelius' amazing Rakasta. When this work was premiered in 1893 it caused a bit of a scandal. It's theme? Love, of course!

Chor Leoni is also pleased to welcome fifty PROMYS singers to our April 5 performance of LOVE. These  young men of high school age come from all over the Lower Mainland and Victoria and will have spent Saturday afternoon in an intensive workshop with the lions. They'll be our guests on Saturday night and will join us for one or two combined numbers.
