Chor Leoni Men's Choir Diane Loomer, C.M., Artistic Director

Welcome to Chor Leoni's Exciting Sixteenth Season!

Chor Leoni’s sixteenth season exemplifies the boundless power of music: music that has the unique ability to transcend boundaries and borders in an art form that heals, unites, inspires, and entertains.  Our 08/09 concerts of contemplation, expectation, exultation, and mirthful innovation all contain examples of this incredible power to move the spirit and stir the soul.

Pity of War explores the poetry that came out of the great cataclysm of World War I. Yuletide Fires takes on an Italianate flavor as we feature Respighi’s sublime Lauda per la Natività del Signore in a candlelit concert full of serenity and hope.  Meetin’ Here Tonight features anthems, spirituals, and hymns that speak directly to the soul. And what can you expect from a concert called No Strings Attached? Think of Pinocchio or Kermit put into the collectively inventive hands and minds of Chor Leoni – it’s a license to a whole new level of mirth!

Our season also includes the not-to-be-missed At Home with Chor Leoni fundraising event and a very special co-presentation with the Chan Centre of Sweden’s famed Orphei Drängar – the male choir that Chor Leoni was modelled upon.

I invite you to experience the power and beauty of our music with us – but not without a little word of warning. All of last season’s concerts sold out.

Now’s the time to click here and use our convenient and secure online service to become a subscriber.

As a bonus you can also purchase tickets for At Home with Chor Leoni and Orphei Drängar at the same time.  It’s a season you won’t want to miss – and please do come up and say ‘hello!’
