The 16th Annual Remembrance Day Concerts

November 9 & 11, 2008

World War I redrew the political boundaries of Europe, removed chivalry from the act of war, and profoundly stirred the conscience of Siegfried Sassoon, John MacRae, Wilfred Owen, and other poets. Pity of War focuses on this WWI poetry in musical works by Larry Nickel, Bruce Sled, and Byron Adams,
and features the North American premiere of the men's version of Curse Upon Iron by Veljo Tormis.
